The two boys Nicola and Jacopo were very helpful to the narrator in Verona.

They bought the narrator American cigarettes, booked seats for the opera, and even suggested the name of good restaurant.

The narrator says that both the boys could be relied upon to satisfy his needs.

The boys even polished narrator's shoes They even showed the narrator places of interest in Verona.
