for instance brahmins were considered as high caste in those days whereas the dalits were considered as low caste .
This got a very huge bad impact to lower castes because as they were considered as lower castes they were called as untouchables and were bot allowed to do certain activities such as visiting a worship place , were not allowed to drink the water that higher castes drank and they were not allowed to sit and eat equally as higher castes did
