The Jews were isolated from the Christians in the following ways:
*Jews had to live in marked areas called ghettos which were very cramped, dirty and unhygienic. They could not live in good areas where the Christian community lived.
*All Jews had to wear the badge-yellow star of David which clearly differentiated them from Christians.
*Jewish children were isolated from Christian children even in school.
