The trojans as you know lived in troy which was very far from greece. when the greek fleet came to assault the city, they were already so travel worn that they were killed in large numbers after they set foot in troy. also,troy had very strong and high walls, which legends say were built by apollo, the sun god. the greeks could not breach these walls and fell prey to trojan archers. the trojan army was itself very strong, though lesser in number
