(i)Take 5 ml solution of any of acid salt ,let us take sulphuric acid(H2SO4) in a beaker.
(ii)add some zinc granules in it
.
(iii)a gas is released.
(iv)This gas is of hydrogen.

Hi mate
Metals present on top of the activity series of metals react with acids to produce hydrogen gas while metals present below the hydrogen like silver does not react with acid to liberate hydrogen gas
