As they fly they, make shouting sounds. The returning echoes give thebats information about anything that is ahead of them, including the size and shape of an insect and which way it is going. This system of finding prey is called echolocation - locating things by theirechoes.

Hii There!!!
Bats come to know about their prey or any obstacle in their path by produce super sonic sound while doing this the echo comes back from the obstacles and hence, they assists prey location and capture.
