1) It reacts with CHCl3 and KOH
forms carbylamine.
2) It reacts with HNO2 and forms
ethyl alcohol.
Diethylamine:
1) It doesn't react with CHCl3 and
KOH.
2) It reacts with HNO2 and form N-nitroso amine (Yellowish oil).
