how will human body be affected if thyroid gland is removed from the body?

They affect processes such as heart rate and body temperature, and help convert food into energy to keep thebody going. In hyperthyroidism, thethyroid gland produces too much thyroxine or triiodothyronine, which speeds up the body's metabolism.

the thyroid gland secretes the hormones thyroxine ,triiodothyronin and calcitonin.Thyroxine regulates growth and metabolism.it is also essential for fertility. calcitonin controls the leveltof calcium inthe body , now if it is removed then all this functions are disabled.
