ar of triangle ade =1/2 abc (by mid point theorem)
therefore are of ade =1/2 9.5 cm²
therefore area of trapezium = area of triangle abc -area of triangle ade
= (9.5*2-9.5)/2
= 9.5 /2
= 4.25cm² ans
