The third stanza says that when the speaker came upon the roads during his travel both roads were covered in autumn leaves "no step had trodden black" .The more walkers there are the more trampled and mixture with earth the leaves on the path becomes.Then he declares that his decision is made he decides to go on the second path and designates to go on first path some another day according to him the life goes,he may nneve tkaerthe same walk to the same fork again ,leaving it untarvelled for forever.
