Dear Student

Ozone is an oxidising agent and so reacts with compound to give oxidised product . ( i ) PbS + 4 O 3 → PbSO 4 + 4 O 2 Here we can see that O is getting added , and addition of O is oxidation and thus , PbS is oxidised to PbSO 4 ( ii ) KNO 2 + O.
