1. By applying jelly on leaves stomata gets covered and transpiration stops. This prevents loss of watervapour and the moisture of the leaf retain for sometimes. But as the layer of jelly stops all type of gaseous exchange, both photosynthesis and respiration also cannot occur.

2. Roots absorb water and minerals and if the roots are cut off the plant wont get water and minerals and it will die. It will die because the plant will not get support and also it will not get water and minerals.

3. Sunlight allows plants to perform photosynthesis, a process which is required for plant growth and health. ... Plants that are denied sufficient light will eventually lose their color and die. Plants deprived of light will grow upward, stretching their stems more rapidly that usual, searching for light.

Answer:

Explanation:

1. Plants breathing might stop and as we can't breathe in without CO2, oxygen might not be produced and we may die.

2. Roots will stop giving nutrients and water to plants and eventually plants will die.

3. Sunlight allows plants to absorb it and photosynthesize,in the absence of sunlight, the plants may not be able to photosynthesize and leading to all the living organism's death.

Conclusion: Photosynthesize may not take place in the absence of sunlight, water, and carbon dioxide.
