Testing soil fertility without the usage of acid-base indicator.

Explanation:

  • The earthworms are considered as a friend of the farmer as it helps in enriching the soil with required factors as well as maintains its fertility.
  • If more number of an earthworm is found on the soil, it means that the biological activity of the soil is too good and its fertility is also good.
  • On the other hand, if the strength of the earthworm is less, it means that the soil is fertile.
  • This observation can be used to test the fertility of the soil without the usage of the acid-base indicator.
