Aim: To proof that air is essential for burning.
Requirements: A transparent glass, matchstik, and candle.
Procedure: Take a candle and burn it will help of matchstick, now keep a transparent glass over it.
Obseravtion: We obsereve that whern we kept a glass over it then then candle's flame extinguished because the burning produces Carbon dioxide and inturn needs oxygen. When the candle is covered with glass then carbon dioxide is stored in hlass and oxygen left in enclosed glass when burns completely then the candle's flam get extinguished.
Conclusion: Air ( oxygen ) supports the burning.
