How will u show that properties of mixture are different from compounds?

for a mixture..... a mixture shows all properties of that of its components. ex iron and sulphur. iron in  the above mixture can be separated by magnetization.

for a compound..... a compound has different properties, and these properties do not match does of the forming substances. (they have fixed combining ratios). ex iron and sulphur when heated forms iron sulphide this iron sulphide is not attracted by a magnet
