How will water scarcity affect our life

a.    Water is available in abundance, around three fourth of earth is covered with water. However, only a small  proportion of it actually accounts for fresh water which can be put to use rest is saline water not suitable for human consumption.
b.     Water is a scarce resource and a life sustaining resource.

c.     Mismanagement and over exploitation of water certainly has a profound impact on our lives.

i.  It will lead  to Unequal distribution of  water among different social groups.
ii. It also becomes a source of conflict among different groups, regions and even countries.
iii. It leads to shortage of water for consumption, drinking and other household activities.
iv. Dumping of industrial waste, chemicals, causes water pollution and becomes the reason for water borne diseases impacting our overall health
v. Moreover, mismanagement of water resources will lead to shortage of water disrupting the entire ecosystem and balance of nature.
