A saturated solution simply means that it won't dissolve any more.
So, you get a glass of water, and keep adding and stirring sugar into it until it won't dissolve any more.
If the water is hot, though, then it can dissolve more sugar. So, you can heat up the water, and continue to dissolve sugar - much more than you did before the water was heated up.
The funny thing is, when the water cools, the sugar doesn't drop back out. So you now have a super-saturated sugar solution☺️
