pH:-

●The strength of any solution or a base can be determined from H + or OH- ion concentration in Aqueous solution.

In short:-

● A number which indicates the acidic or basic nature of solution.

☄pHscale:−

● A scale used for measuring hydrogen ions concentration in a solution .

● pH values are from 0 to 14.

◼ USES:-

● Tooth paste is basic in nature it neutralise the acid present in mouth by neutralising it.

●Our body works within pH range of 7.0 to 7.8

●pH cause tooth decay when the pH of mouth is lower than 5.5 .

● Sting of honey bee leaves an acid which cause pain irritation used of mildbase and baking soda on the stung area gives relief.

● Sting of yellow wasp leaves or base in our body which cause pain and irritation used of acid like pickle gives relief on stung area.
