To minimize the impact, one needs to
1) Stay focused - Stay focused about what you want to do, just try constantly to achieve your targets.
2) Minimize diversion - Leave all the habits that result in time waste and reduce your productive and effective time.
3) Do not pay heed to the unnecessary people - People like relatives and some other cunning people create disturbances in your life and divert you. So avoid such unproductive people.
4) Stay self confident - Be confident in what you are doing and do not change your opinions even if others try to convince you for something wrong.
