how will you bring about following reactions ? write the concerned chemical equations

ethanol to ethane​

Step 1 :- Ethanol is heated in presence of concentrated sulphuric acid and then dehydration reaction takes place and ethanol gets converted into ethane.

CH3 - CH2 - OH + H2SO4 ------> CH2 = CH2 + H2O

Step 2 :- Now ethene is reacted with Hydrogen in presence of nickel or palladium catalyst and Ethene gets converted into ethane.

CH2 = CH2 + H2 ------Pd-----> CH3 - CH3
