(a) mass by volume percentage of a solution?
(b) mass by mass percentage of a solution?
(c) volume by volume percentage of a solution?

Answer:

mass by mass percentage = mass of solute / mass of solution * 100

mass by volume percentage = mass of solute / volume of solution *100

volume by volume percentage = vol of the component / vol of solution * 100

Explanation:

We can can calculate the concentration in terms of:

a) Mass by volume percentage:

Here,

%w/v =mass of solute/volume of solution×100

Note that volume of solution is 100ml which is fixed.(we generally calculate the concentration w. r. t. percentage using 100ml as the volume of solution only)

Mass of solute mean the mass which is present in 100ml volume of solution

b) mass by mass:

here,

%w/w=mass of solute/ mass of solution. ×100

Note that the mass of solution is 100g which is fixed. (we generally calculate the concentration w. r. t. percentage using 100g as the mass of solution only)

mass of solute mean the mass in 100g mass of solution

Note that, mass of solute<100g

c) volume by volume%

Here, %v/v= volume of solute /volume of solution. ×100

volume of solute mean the volume in 100ml solution.

Note that volume of solute <100ml

Thank you...
