How will you carry out the following conversions: (i) 2-Bromoproane to 2-bromopropane (ii) Benzene to p-chloronitrobenzene.​

For the given conversion first, 2-bromopropane undergoes elimination reaction in presence of alc.K OH to form propane. This propene is then reacted with H Br in presence of peroxide. The propene follows anti-Markownikoff's addition to form 1-bromopropane as a product.
