How will you combine 3 resistors of 6 ohm each so that combination has resistance of 9 ohm and 4 ohm?

its simple....

TO get 6 ohm

..connect two of them in llel and the other in series.

TO get 4 ohm

..connect two in series and the other in llel with the two resistor.
