For 1 ohm:
We will connect all resistors in parallel.
As
1/ R = 1/2 + 1/3 + 1/6
=> R = 1ohm
For 4 ohm :
We will connect 3ohm and 6 ohm in parallel and then this in series with 2ohm.
As
1/ R = 1/3+ 1/6
=> R = 2
Now, this R is series with 2 ohm,
to get R(eq) = R + 2 = 2+2 = 4ohm
