Hello Here is your answer
First we would join the resistors of 2ohm and 3Ohm in series and then 5 ohm in parallel
Refer to the diagram......
now...........
Rs= (2+3)ohm=5ohm
1/Rp= 1/5+1/5= 10/25=10/25 ohm
Rp=2.5 ohm..
