Answer:connect the 2ohm and 3ohm resistors in series and the 5ohm resister parallel to the combination to get an equivalent resistance of 2.5ohm

R s=(2+3)ohms

=5ohm

1/R p=(1/5+1/5)5ohm

=2/5ohm

R p =5/2ohm

=2.5ohm
