How will you connect three resistors of 3ohm 4ohm 7ohm respectively,so to obtain resulted resistance of 3.5ohm

Answer:Three resistors are given one of 3ohm and others of 4 and 7 ohm.

To obtain resultant resistance of 3.5 ohm we will connect the resistors of 3 and 4 ohm in series and get the total resistence of 7 ohm.

As,

Rs= 4ohm + 3ohm

=7 ohm

Then, the 3ohm and 4ohm resistence together are connected parallel with the resistence of 7 ohm.

Hence we get

1/Rp=1/7+1/7

1/Rp=2/7

Rp=7/2

Rp=3.5
