How will you connect three resistors of resistance 2Ω, 3 Ω and 6 Ω to obtain a total resistance of: (a) 4Ω, and (b) 1 Ω?

for getting total resistance 1ohm

we have to connect resistors in Parralel

Explanation:

1/Rp=1/2+1/3+1/6

=6/12+4/12+2/12

=12/12

=1 ohm

total resistance of 4 ohm will not come

but if we connect resistors in series

we will get 14 ohm

by formula;

Rs=R1+R2+R3;
