HOPE SO U R DOING WELL
HERE YOU GO
I recently visited a cosmetics store in with Bangalore with my friend. The salesgirls there were dressed in western pant suits, immaculately made up, and falling backwards over themselves to talk to us in English even when we made it a point to speak in Kannada.
We stepped out of the tiny store and were waiting for our purchase to be billed and handed over when one of these girls threw out a broken hair clip onto the footpath.
I was shocked, looked at her and said “Really?!” while I bent down to pick it up. She said “What? I threw it because it was broken.” I asked her, “yes, it is broken, but don't you think this is your country, your city, we have only one earth and can't afford to litter like this?”
She just turned her back to me and stood muttering under her breath.
My friend took the clip from me and put it in the trash can which was literally two steps away from the girl who threw it.
So, what we can do is -
Don't litter.
Pick up trash where we can.
Confront people who litter.
Try and shame them in public (risky business, but worth a try).
MARK ME BRAINLIEST IF IT HELPS
