First you have to make Benzene diazonium cloride by adding NaNo3 and HCl below 10 °c .
Then add water and boil it
Then you can form benzyl alchol :)

First convert aniline to diazonium salt by nano2 /hcl at 0-5° 1 atm : Then from diazonium salt to cyano benzene by CuCN then from cyano benzene to benzoic acid by acidic hydrolysis (H3O)+ now reduce it by sodium borohydride (NaBH4).
