By following the below two steps, you can convert benzaldehyde into Benzoic acid compounds.

Step 1:


Use the potassium hydroxide along with the benzaldehyde. You will get the output as benzyl alcohol and sodium benzoate.


Step 2: Keep aside the benzyl alcohol and use the sodium benzoate along with the Hydrochloric acid. You will now get the benzoic acid.
