i)Plaster of Paris is a white powder and on mixing with water, it changes to gypsum giving a hard solid mass.

ii)3/2 H20 is lost during the conversion of gypsum to plaster of paris.

iii) Plaster of Paris is used by doctors for supporting fractured bones in the right position.

iv) The water of crystallization means having a fixed number of molecules present in one formula of a unit of salt.
