I don't think lenzaldehyde actually exists...... :(

If you meant 'benzaldehyde', then here is your answer...

Benzaldehyde is oxidised using alkaline KMnO₄ to benzoic acid.

Then use soda lime (NaOH + CaO) to make benzoic acid undergo decarboxylation to benzene.

Benzene is made to react with Cl₂ in presence of FeCl₃ to convert it into Chlorobenzene.

Chlorobenzene is reacted with NaOH at 623K,300 atm to convert it into Phenol (Dow's process)
