A vector can be represented as the product of its magnitude and the unit vector towards which the vector is directed. If only the magnitude of the vector is given, the direction and the unit vector cannot be found.

the magnitude of a vector can be converted into a vector by multiplying it with the direction of the required vector
magn. x n-cap gives the vector.
