The pH of soil is different in the different places around the world
When this pH is less than 7,
It is called acidic and it is then treated with bases like calcium carbonate, sodium bicarbonate or carbonate, milk of magnesia and etc.
When the pH is more than 7,
It is called basic and it is treated with some acids such as Acetic acid, metanoic acid, antacid and etc.
When the pH is 7,
The soil is neutral and hence no need to add anything
