How will you debate when teachers give u the opposite team and how will you win
Answers
Before the debate: Think of some valid arguments for your team. Make sure each argument makes sense and has logic. Give evidence for each point. Then, think of what the other team could say to counter your point. Add more explanation and don't leave anything. Imagine that the audience has no idea what is happening and you have to explain everything to them.
During the debate: Say your points clearly and be confident. If you are not confident, the audience will not be convinced. Your job is to convince the audience that you are right, even if you yourself don't think so, act like you are correct. If you think that the other team has a flawed point, say that their point makes no sense. Argue against that point and push your point so that the other team's points are proved invalid. Try to prove the other team wrong.
Structure your points well.
After the debate: Remember that it's okay if you don't win. You can try again next time.
All the Best!
