How will you demonstrate that particles of matter have space between them?

Lets take an example of packet of chips.... The packet is Fulfilled With Gas...so You Can Easily Able to Open... But if a piece of iron.. You cant be able.

1) Consider an empty tumbler.

2) Now, Pour water in it and mark a point.

3) Now add salt to it.

4) Stir it well.

5) Again add a pinch of salt and mix it well.

6) There is rise in the water level.


Conclusion of the experiment :-
There exist space between the particle which resulted in the raise level of water.
