Parenchyma:-

  1. Parenchyma cells are present in the epidermis, cortex, pith and pericycle. Meristematic cells are parenchymatous.
  2. Thin cell wall.
  3. Intercellular space is present.
  4. No pectin deposition.
  5. Shape - Isodiametric
  6. Permanent tissue.

Collenchyma:-

  1. It occurs in the peripheral part of elongating organs like stem and petiole, usually appearing as a continuous ring beneath the epidermis.
  2. Unequally thickened cell wall
  3. Intercellular space is absent.
  4. Pectin deposition is found at the corners.
  5. Shape - Polygonal.
  6. Permanent tissue sometimes revives meristematic activity.

Hope it helps you...‼️✌️
