how will you differentiate between molecules of elements and molecules of compound ? give example of each?

First of all I would like to clarify you that a element does posses molecule.. The single form of any element is called atom but not molecule. for example: H,He, Li and so on.

Similarly the single form of any compound is called molecule. for example: H2O, CO2, NH3 and so on.
