CHLOROBENZENE:: when benzene reacts with excess of chlorine in presence of anhydrous AlCl3 , hexachlorobenzene is obtained. All the six hydrogen atoms of benzene ring are replaced the electrophile Cl ions.

Cyclohexyl Chloride::: Benzene on heating with hydrogen at 458 K to 473 K in the presence of the Ni catalyst forms Cyclohexyl.
