Physically-

FeSO4 in a solution is green in colour while FeCl3 in solution is yellow in colour.

Chemically-

On adding an alkali to FeSO4, the precipitate formed is dirty green while adding an alkali to FeCl3, the precipitate formed is reddish brown.

FeSO4- 1)It is a green coloured sol.

2)It forms a dirty green ppt when and alkali such as NaOH is added in small amount.[Fe(OH)2].

FeCl3- 1)It is yellow coloured sol.

2) It forms reddish-brown ppt when an alkali such as NaOH is added in small amount.[Fe(OH)3].
