click in middle arrow means line will appear then u can type or by text box

If you want to enter a text on a slide follow these steps:

i. Click on the Insert menu and select Text Box

or click on the text box icon on the drawing toolbar

ii. Click and hold down the left mouse button while you drag the mouse

iii. Click inside the text box and start typing
