1-Water is passively transported into the roots and then into the xylem. 2-The forces of cohesion and adhesion cause the water molecules to form a column in the xylem. 3- Water moves from the xylem into the mesophyll cells, evaporates from their surfaces and leaves the plant by diffusion through the stomata.
take a beaker and pour some water in it and then add some colour drops to it and then put a celery plant or a large petal . note it after 1 or 2 days you will notice that the colour added to the water is simulated by the plant to itself and colour of the inside version changes to as the added colour, and hence it is done to be said that the transportation of water take place
