How will you explain the statement we cannot see the objects in a dark room

When reflected light from an object incidents on our eye, an image of that object is formed at our retina. ... During darkness, no reflected light will fall on the retina. Hence, no image will be formed by eye. That's why we can not view any object.

to see any object we required light with came from the object to the viewer eyes. if there is no light then we cannot see any object.

so in a dark room there is no life ,that is why we cannot see anything in that room
