Take one particular pole such as the North Pole on the mark magnet and bring the magnet with unknown pools near to eat if it attracts and we will be able to know that the pole which face is the magnetic north pole and South Pole and if it repaired it will be prepared that it is the light pole that is north pole and so we can mark and easily find out the poles

''opposite poles attract each other while similar poles would repel''

With this property of magnets , we can easily find unknown poles of the magnet.
