how will you find the valency of chlorine, sulphur and magnesium​

The valency is the number of outer shells electrons and Ions that the element gains or losses. The valency of chlorine is -1

sulfur is -2

and magnesium is +2

this is because magnesium gains an element while sulfur losses two and chlorine losses one...
