Explanation:

we we would apply the concept of reactivity series for each of the following salt of different metals.

if if we go through the reactivity series then we will find that calcium is more reactive than zinc and zinc is more reactive than lead.

take calcium chloride, lead chloride and zinc chloride in three different test tubes.

add add equal amount of sodium hydroxide to each of the three test tubes.

the test test tube in which reaction take place more fastly is of calcium chloride.

second the second one will be of zinc chloride

and and the last one to react very slowly would be of lead chloride.

Cation analysis or tests for calcium, lead and zinc will help identify corresponding chlorides.

Salt solution of these chlorides can by prepared by fusing with Sodium carbonate and adding silver nitrate to little extract will form a white precipitate of Silver chloride and this is the identification test for chlorides.

Dissolve calcium chloride in dilute sulphuric acid and then add stadium Carbonate solution. Formation of white precipitate of calcium carbonate is the identification of Calcium.

Similarly tests for zinc and lead can be done to identify them.
