These chlorides of the salt solution can be prepared by fusing with sodium carbonate and adding silver nitrate to a small amount of silver chloride and this is the identification test. Dissolve calcium chloride in dilute sulfuric acid and then add stadium carbonate solution. Formation of white precipitate of calcium carbonate is the identification of calcium. Similarly tests for zinc and lead can be done to identify them.
