1) Increasing the current flowing through solenoid as more the current more is the magnetic field.

2) Reducing the air gap between the two end of solenoid ( less the air gap ,more is the magnetic field ) .U shaped solenoid has maximum magnetic field as it has least air gap.

3) Increasing the number of turns of wire around core material, as more the turns more the magnetic field.

4) Using soft iron as core material , as soft iron produces maximum magnetic field among every material.
