Answer:

for getting 3 ohm we have to join two resistors in parallel and one resistor in series

Explanation:

two in parallel

1/2+1/2 equals to 1

and one in series that is 2

on addition

1+2 equals to 3 plz follow me

Answer:Join the first two resistances in parallel and the last one in series with the whole combination

Explanation:

We have, R1=R2=R3=2 ohm

Joining R1 and R2 in parallel,

R(eq)=1/R1+1/R2. (Parallel combination formula)

=1/2+1/2=1 ohm

Now with this R(eq), join the last resistor R3 in series

R(total)=R(eq)+R3. (Series combination formula)

=1 + 2=3 ohm.
